It is a privilege to serve as principal of Bishop Michael Eldon School. Our school has an outstanding reputation. Having just celebrated our 50th anniversary, I am proud to be part of such a wonderful institution “The School of Choice in the North.” 
The staff at Bishop Michael Eldon School has been trained to be developmentally responsive to the age groups we serve. All teachers have high expectations for behavior and achievement. We continue to learn as a staff to make sure we are providing the best education possible to our students.

Ensuring that every student reach their full potential is at the heart of everything we do at BMES and our results academically, athletically and creatively are testament to the outstanding work of our students and staff.

We are proud of our achievements for this year: Winning all three segments of the SECME mousetrap competition. Receiving the “Green” Flag, the first for Grand Bahama. Sending a Chess team to compete in Salem, and the newest club: The VEX Robotics which is currently preparing for competition later this year. At the beginning of May we were crowned winners in the senior division of the SECME Water Rocket International competition, in addition we secured second place in the essay component of the competition with an entry from one of our Grade Eight (8) students. National Arts winners; Essay competitions; Art competitions; BGCSE and BJC top subject awards; Ferreira Earth Day Challenge Competition winner……….We are truly going from strength to strength
